Emma Overmyer is a 3D Artist at Pipeworks Studios with 4 years of game development experience and 6 video game titles under her belt. She has worked on Microsoft Flight Simulator 40th Anniversary Edition, Ara History Untold, Prominence Poker, Magic Spellslingers, and Marathon.
She is skilled in 3D modeling, texturing, retopology, and unwrapping. In her early career she had high aspirations. Working two internships throughout college and publishing a card game on Kickstarter. She received her Bachelors in Media Arts and Science in 2021, and Graduated with an accelerated Masters degree that same year in the fall. In school she focused on 3D hard surface modeling, storytelling, emerging media, and UI/UX design. She studied art in technology as a minor and developed a deep appreciation for traditional art and the principles of design. She believes these core principles belong to all mediums, not just traditional art.
In her professional life she adjusts to new art styles quickly and has been complimented for her ability to on board onto projects quickly. She takes initiative, isn't afraid of critique, and has a high quality bar.
Emma Overmyer worked as a 3D artist on a AI Training Program through the Engineering school at IUPUI. Emma Overmyer was in charge of modeling, texturing, and rendering realistic models to help train AI technology to recognize objects.
